To choose today's song, I put my iPod on shuffle and this is what popped up. One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands. Nothing puts me in the mood for Fall weather like Nickel Creek. Their bluegrass sound reminds me of so many things! Plus the message in this song is amazing. When I hear the words, I am reminded that there is no need to be anything you aren't. If you live your life, trying to learn how to "live in Rome" rather than living to build your kingdom in heaven, then you've failed in your mission here on Earth.

From these two posts, you should know two things about me. One is that I'm a Christian. And two is that I'm madly in love with some one. The girl in my life is my better half. I don't know how I ever lived a day without her, and I don't plan on breathing another second without being hers. I thank God every day that I know her.

We are at different schools. Though they are about 45 minutes away, those days when I can't see her are so hard. This song represents all that I'm feeling for her. I live each of my days just trying to get by, until I can see her again. I think every married man, or man who is ever planning to marry, should listen to this song. It's just a promise to the woman in your life that you will always do your best to make her happy, and that's what it's all about. Be thankful for the love that you share!

For the first blog, I have to show my praise to my Lord, Jesus Christ. He's the reason that I'm here today and I want to live every day to praise his name! Though many of the songs posted on this blog won't be "Christian" songs I pray that he leads their lyrics to help you have a better day and an impact in your life, no matter where you are, or what problems you have. Listen to this song, and just be thankful that we have a God who loves us so much. Like the lyrics say, "He is jealous for me." And he is jealous for you as well. Sometimes in the course of our lives we forget about how much we are loved. No matter how much you receive here on Earth, God always has an infinite amount of Love for you. Give this song a shot and I hope it makes your day!
